The Heritage School, Kolkata, West Bengal, India, is a day-boarding school following the ICSE/ISC syllabuses. The school launched International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) in 2012 and IGCSE in 2013. It is an initiative of the Kalyan Bharti Trust. The school offers English-Medium education from Nursery up to higher secondary level. There is also an educational enterprise called Suryakiran which is for underprivileged children. The school has taken part in competitions like the Frank Antony Memorial All India Interschool Debate, The Bournvita Quiz Contest, Maggi Quiz and other inter-school fests. The school has an Interact Club, and takes part in developmental schemes such as the Duke of Edinburgh award (also called the Award Scheme for Young People). It has a two-tiered prefect body, including an elected Students' Council (a forum of two elected representatives from each section). The school is also known for the students it sends abroad every year, particularly spiking with the introduction of the IBDP program with students going to universities in the UK such as university of Edinburgh and London school of Economics and those in USA too such as Tufts, Carnegie Mellon, University of California, University of Chicago, University at buffalo and those in Canada such as McGill. ==Management== The school management includes the following people: *Seema Sapru, Principal *Meenakshi Atal, Vice Principal *Darryl Christensen, Headmaster *Cdr. S. Dey, Campus Administrator *Salony Priya, Counselor & HR Trainer Some scenes of the Bengali movie Paanch Adhyay were shot at the school.
